Artist's Comments

It's a day late, I finished this VERY quickly last night.

Yesterday was the 100th birthday of Georges Remi, also known as Hergé.

The Tintin books are very near and dear to me. The world needs Tintin again. HE'D catch Osama, then the US and Europe would be friends again and all would be well.

Shush, I can dream....

Edit: And yes, I know about the Jackson/Spielberg movies.
Why do people assume that a self-confessed FAN of something would be unaware of major events in her fandom? Duh.

I wonder how many people actually take the time to read other peoples signatures....

Tintin is one of my childhood heroes! I have all the comics - my great-uncle bought me a new issue every month as long as I kept practicing my piano.

I really should get around to reading those again...

I LOVE how you recreated the style in the soft coloring. Looks absolutely divine!

Brings back memories.

I absolutely love Tintin too. ^_^
Did you hear that Peter Jackson and Steven Speilburg are teaming up to make a trilogy about Tintin and his doggie?

Running in circles I can't forget how many times
I've played this in my mind.... feeling free, feeling free.

My word, I remember these two; I grew up with the german versions of the second series and the comics.

I like the somewhat modern wardrobe you gave him in this. Makes me wonder how Tintin and Snowy (Tim and Struppi in german) would react to this, the 21st century world.
