More warmth and genuine expression than the show's animation, and a hekuva lot less Uncanny Valley. (I say that based on having watched 60% of a single episode, and having caught the last two minutes of a dozen more.)

I'm a sucker for fantasy and SF, and both 2d and 3d animation. Not every studio can be Dreamworks or Pixar, and it's hard for me as a fan being stuck on the outside of something that people devote their working lives to. This one page makes me want to read an issue of SSC when I go to pick up Pony #1 tomorrow.
