I'm a huge fan of the 70's-80's Barbie box art with super-saturated inks and markers.
This is entirely done by hand - no photoshop AT ALL.

Okay, for those that are curious, this is done with
Pigma Micron pens, Copic Markers and Sharpie Extra Fine Water based paint pens on Strathmore drawing paper.
