Cover B for Monsters Inc #1, in stores in August.
For the B covers, I wanted to use the flat retro style used in the movie's opening credits, designed by animation design legend Geefwee Bodoe. Because really, any excuse for me to use my flat style  Boom are awesome and allowed me to recreate and use the retro title (as also seen in the credits) rather than the standard MI logo. |
