Another one where the meat of the piece is coloured pencil with a dash of photoshop to make it all pretty for the web.

Ariel's 6 sisters never did get as much character attention as she did, design-wise. There she is, saucer eyes, pretty face, big mane of sexy red hair and killer smile while Aquata, Arista, Attina, Andrina, Alana and Adella got rather goofy-looking 'comic' faces and the insane hairdos that defy all logic

About time we got a bit of family resemblance going here, dontcha think?

I took the idea for a limited palette from a similar Sailormoon painting where all the senshi faces were done in deep aquas.

I love it! I agree - that's six princesses that never get screen time! It's one thing I loved about the prequel movie - we got to see some characterisation for Ariel's sisters! Nice stuff, as usual!
