I love Catherine Tate so much! I really liked her as the Doctor's companion because she wasn't exactly thin, and she wasn't terribly young, and yet she was still absolutely beautiful. The chemistry between her and Tennant was incredible without the characters becoming romantically involved; that made me really happy. The Doctor had a friend (instead of a fangirl) in Donna, in my opinion.

Donna saved the world.

Ditto. It's what I think puts Donna FAR ahead as the best companion of NewWho (along with Jack, just because Jack is cool

). She wasn't afraid to call out the Doctor when he was being an arrogant arse and that's a very important balance to have in any Doctor-Companion relationship.

Well I don't like Donna the most, I mean she is far superior to Martha who just got annoying...

But Rose had some of the best moments with the doctor and (in my opinion) Donna's best moment before the finale just involves her relaying a message from Rose

"She said... Bad Wolf." (Cue the oh shit music and look of panic)
