YESSSS!!! Bye Rose, you great Chavvy Sue!
Have fun with your RealDoctor Doll! That's what you get for stupidly believing the One True Doctor would ever consider settling down with you.

Rosefen, there's your ending and you are welcome to it. Don't bother posting all your butthurt about it, this pic is not for you. Go have fun shipping your little hearts out, the rest of us will be over here mourning what happens in the scene after this and waiting for the BETTER WRITER to take over the series.

You think that the person who wrote ROSE (or the Doctor actually falling in love with such a stupid, selfish, slutty twat!) could be a better writer than anyone? His writing was decent, but he must have been high when he came up with her.

Well, he obviously is better than Moffat, who's writing is terrible plot-holed, has horrid continuity, and he treats his female characters like shit.

Now, lets list all the things Rose Tyler did that makes her a BAMF, shall we?
She saved the Doctor’s life from the Nestene Consciousness that was going to kill him in “Rose”
She saw the end of her world, and for just one moment, was able to understand what it was like to be the last of her kind - and instead of dwelling on it or acting hurt or upset that the Doctor would inflict that on her, and instead of demanding he take her home or somewhere else or even insisting that they talk about it, she grabs his hand and pays for chips, because she understands that a hold to hand is all he needs at that point. (I mention this because, while it’s not bravery or a major feat of any kind, it is kind of amazing, her level of compassion and intuitiveness.)
She fought the Doctor tooth and nail over whether or not they could use dead bodies to host the Gelth - because his ideals conflicted with her own, and she knew that someone had to make the Doctor question his arrogance.
She willingly risked her life to save the Doctor and the world - multiple times.
She put herself between the Doctor and a Dalek, again, because his arrogance and pure hatred was making him senseless and she needed him to show some compassion.
The Doctor trusted her enough that he was actually okay with splitting up and going a different way from her on several occasions - notably, in “The Empty Child” when she goes off and he just kind of shrugs it off and is like, “I’ll catch her later.” He trusts that she’s not going to make a bad decision or fuck anything major up, and how many companions can you really say that for? I think the only other person the Doctor has trusted so wholeheartedly on nuWho was Donna. This is arguable, of course, but the point still stands that the Doctor does trust Rose enough to be more lenient on that whole “don’t run off” rule.
It was only through Rose’s love for the Doctor that the Bad Wolf phenomenon was possible, which is so complicated that I’m not even going to go into it here, but if you want an explanation of why I think this is awesome, you can click here.
After the Doctor regenerated, he was sick and unable to fight for humanity. What did Rose do? She fucking went to Mars and spoke for the whole of humanity herself. It doesn’t matter that she had no idea what she was saying; the fact that she was brave enough to try to string together all these words, despite the fact that she had literally just come out of the ordeal with the Bad Wolf, despite the fact that the man she loved and trusted most had just changed and “died” and she didn’t know who he was anymore, despite the fact that she had probably gotten, at most, some tea and an hour-long nap between all of that and speaking for the human race… She does it anyway. She tried.
She showed Lady Cassandra compassion even after all she’d done.
She saved a shit-ton of people from a fucking werewolf.
She investigated and figured out what was going on with Magpie’s TVs long before the Doctor did - it got her into trouble, yes, but she was clever.
In “The Satan Pit/The Impossible Planet:” She showed the Ood compassion. She showed Toby compassion. She took charge of the situation when the captain was panicking. She saved the crew from the Beast. She gave the Doctor something to believe in, which saved them all.
In “Love and Monsters,” she showed that idiot Elton compassion even though he’d upset her mum.
She gave the Doctor a reason to laugh.
She gave the Doctor a reason to live.
She saved countless lives in many episodes that I haven’t even mentioned.
She broke across the dimension barriers without the Doctor’s help, which was a feat that even the Doctor had said was impossible. Just to save the universe. And to see him.
She told the Doctor she would never leave him, not because she didn’t want to be without him, but because she knew he wouldn’t be okay without her.
She gave the Doctor a hand to hold.
There are so many more things that I could list, to be honest.

Rose Tyler is not stupid. She many not have her A-levels, but she is very clever and sometimes realizes things before the Doctor does. She is not selfish. Yes, she's done some selfish things, but she is extremely caring and compassionate to everyone she meets. She is most definitely not a slut, and it's actually very sexist of you to say that. You're probably okay with Jack wanting to bang everything that breathes, but since Rose flirted with like, two guys and fell in love with one, that must mean she's automatically a giant whore.

ut the thing is that you suck. And Rose Tyler doesn’t. Rose is flawed, yes. But that makes her a well-rounded character. It would be ridiculous for me to pick a hero who was literally flawless. That’s not why I admire the people that I do. I admire my heroes - and I admire Rose in particular - because in the face of adversity, they are clever, level-headed, brave, and compassionate. So what if they have their selfish moments? So what if they occasionally cry or whine?

Now, kindly fuck off and stop inflicting your stupid opinions on the world

Well nothing you say backs up the fact that she is flawed. I think this person means that Rose was treated like a Mary Sue. Even when she had flaws, she never had to pay for them, it was as though they weren't there. The Doctor never told her off for being selfish or spoiled, or even Sarah Jane. I think the problem with her is that RTD didn't let her develop naturally and tried to go for a character change that didn't feel right. She should've become deeper. But instead, she became more shallow, only pining after the Doctor. I started to wonder if that was the only real reason that she liked travelling in the Tardis, because of her "true love".

*Before that she worked against him, thinking him evil. They only had her save him for plot effect (to make her likeable) because she needed to be redeemed for the other crap she did in the episode before that.
*That episode is one of the very few times she really seemed to even NOTICE the feelings of others in the entire series.
*she fought the Doctor over the Gelth because she was creeped out by the idea of recycled bodies. It was selfish (if the Gelth hadn't been assholes, it -would- have been the right thing to do. That wasn't arrogance, it was compassion) and had nothing to do with making the doctor a better person whatsoever.
*She almost got him killed or did(listed below) get him killed multiple times. She also compromised the world/reality/existence repeatedly (also below).
*She brought back the Daleks from those closest to extinction they have ever been- not a good thing.
*She put herself between him and the ONE good Dalek that ever existed because she didn't know any better. The doctor wasn't being arrogant or senselessly hateful- the Daleks are evil and he knows it, and the Dalek wanted to die anyway.
*And yet she DID fuck things up by running off and making bad decisions, many times, thus strengthening the point of the "don't run off" rule. His trust was misplaced most times. Consider: she was the first companion in the new series- and after her he still had the "don't run off" rule.
*Almost any of the companions would have done the same thing. She became an egomaniacal murderous superbeing during that, and was too stupid to write anything useful during her time as The Bad Wolf... Opting instead to just graffiti "bad Wolf" everywhere. (There was nothing clickable there.)
*During which she only saved people she cared about personally, which forced Jack to become immortal against his will and she didn't even successfully destroy the Daleks.
*I have never been more scared (figuratively speaking) for humanity than when she did that. She was completely dimwitted and useless, so what point was there for her to do it? Even if she was brave for going, she could have made things a LOT worse by being so stupid and brashand lying about being part of the Shadow Proclaimation- and never even considered that possibility. She was probably still high on ego about being a godess for five minutes. Yes, she tried- and failed.
*She was petty, mean and rude to Cassandra just because she didn't approve of how she (Cassandra) chose to live her own life (despite being a chav and a trollup herself)
*After being utterly shit to her, she finally showed some compassion. That makes twice shes showed compassion. Woo, go her. SUCH a big heart.
*Speaking of big hearted, she hit on everything with a penis right in front of the Doctor while acting like she was in love with him.
*She treated Mickey like utter crap, making him wait for her, wanting him to want only her and stringing him along, knowing full well she had no intention of staying with him.
*She forced the Doctor to take Adam Mitchell along just to make the Doctor jealous and subsequently dropped Adam like a bad habit just because he got sick.
*I wouldn't call like six people a "shit ton", and she didn't "save them" from it, she just broke them free after it already fucked off.
*You said it yourself, it got her in trouble and it made him risk his life and get electrocuted.
*Compassion episode three, out of how many so far? She didn't save them from the beast, it tricked them into taking it away from the planet, the DOCTOR saved them, she didn't make him "believe" in anything, he just looked at unavoidable facts and came to the conclusion -on his own- that his knowledge might not encompass all that is knowABLE.
*WHAT?! Elton had genuinely started to like spending time with Jackie, abandoned the Doctor quest and Rose had the doctor bring her so she could kick his ass. The DOCTOR showed him compassion by turning his girlfriend into a yard stone when she would have just died. Rose was still pissy when this happened.
*I suppose. I laugh at her too.
*Oh please. he had plenty of reasons to live without her. And has done just fine without her since then. He DID leave her in an alterate universe with an evil xerox of himself +points to picture+ and didn't even feel the need to say "I love you" (He could have said it the first time- he was stalling so he didn't have to. If you don't believe me, rewatch the episode and say "I love you" at the right point. If it takes you so long, let me know.)
*I'm sure think they're countable.
*Breaking the dimension barrier is a BAD thing, remember? Regardless of "impressiveness" it was reckless. Not to mention she had her own doctor by then, one who would stay with her, love her and have a real life with her- that she was leaving behind to chase after the Doctor. Saving the universe was secondary.
*She DID do it because she wanted to be with him. And he has been perfectly fine without her.
*And how many hands as he held since her? And before. =T
*Me too.
*She essentially created a paradox by making the Doctor take her to an earlier point in her own time stream and in the same episode created a wound in time by preventing her Dad's death (Even the Doctor calls her selfish and stupid)
*She creates a paradox by accepting holding her baby self even though she was warned not to touch her which gets the Doctor eaten and blinks the Tardis out of existence.
*Only joined him for time travel- even HE suspected she did it to save her dad. She can deny all she wants, the truth is she was not going to join him until he said "time machine".
*She selfishly tries to prevent her father from setting everything right.
*Caused him to have to waste a regeneration just to save her (Though on this one I'm not REALLY complaining because.... David Tennant)
*She was REALLY annoying with that childish "Not amused" bit with Queen Victoria
*Had the nerve to get jealous of the doctors attraction to Madame De Pompadour with his she had been around all men so far, and with how she treated him post-regeneration.
*Oh, and she got the Doctor killed by a Dalek when she had a really big gun despite the fact that it was proven effective against Daleks and she had time to shoot it before it shot him.

She isn't an utterly irredeemable retard, congratulations for her. She is no genius either. She has the common sense of a goldfish. She made so many dumb mistakes that I'd have to rewatch the whole thing over just to list the ones i haven't mentioned. Only further on in the series did she actually start to act SMART- being observant isn't the same thing as intelligence. The Doctor is pretty oblivious, but who would accuse him of not being smart? She ignored every other thing the Doctor said and every other order the Doctor ever gave her- except for when she should have. She cares about what SHE wants, as I pointed out above. She was NOT caring and compassionate to -everyone- she met, that is a lie. What a simpleminded assumption- as I pointed out above she hit on everything that moved- WHILE toying with Mickey's AND the Doctor's feelings. Yes, I was okay with Jack hitting on everything that moved- because he was single. It had nothing to do with her being a girl, moron.

O-kay.....You were going alright until the end there. I... "suck"? Because I dont worship Rose Tyler like you do?? And Rose is your "hero"? How old are you? Why don't you fuck off and grow up you stupid child.
