D23 Booth-babe chiming in!

So! Disney has decided to enter the scary waters of fan conventions with next weekend's D23 expo at Anaheim Convention Centre.

Among all sorts of neat things and keynote speeches, Boom! WILL be there promoting the Pixar and Muppet original comics.
As a (very) busy producer of these comics, I'll be there at Boom!'s booth on Sat 12th and Sun 13th.

The details of what will be available at the booth are still being worked out, because apparently Disney have some new setup regarding buying and selling stuff, but I'm guessing I'll be doing signings at SOME point! Once I get any further details, I'll post with updates.

They bought Marvel months ago.

It's so they can own Spiderman and make gobs of money slapping him on lunchboxes. That's what it essentially boils down to.

Nope, that's BUSINESS.

Marvel will still make comics as they've always done, nothing will really change except you'll find Marvel characters in Disney stores.

Hey! one of my coworkers at the Magic of Disney Animation, at Hollywood Studios, says he knows you. His name is Les Carpenter, I think he talked to you at D23. I have a goal to stop drawing Disney characters for Disney and start doing it for BOOM!, but alas i havnt figured out how to do that yet...love your stuff though, I've bought lots of it.
